VIBRANT. CITRUS. EFFERVESCENT.

Exceptional coffee is defined by freshness, which is why we bypass the practice of stocking pre-roasted inventory. Every batch of ORI COFFEE is precision-roasted on a frequent, rolling schedule to maintain peak vibrancy. We prioritize rapid fulfillment—processing and shipping your order immediately following our most recent roast cycle—to ensure the distinctive notes of our single-origin harvests reach your doorstep at their absolute peak of flavor.

A masterpiece of high-altitude cultivation, our selection from Embu County is a testament to the meticulous work of the New Runyenjes Farmers Cooperative Society. This single-origin offering is defined by its remarkable complexity and a vibrant acidity that sets it apart from any other region.

The Flavor Profile:

  • Citrus Brightness: Sharp, clean notes of Cherry and Grapefruit provide a refreshing and sophisticated acidity.

  • Effervescent Mouthfeel: A lively, crisp texture—reminiscent of fine champagne—that enhances the delicate caramel undertones.

  • Refined Sweetness: While bright, the cup is grounded by a deep, syrupy sweetness developed in nutrient-rich volcanic loam.

  • Notes: Cherry, Grapefruit, Kiwi, Caramel, Bright Acidity, Smooth Finish

The Origin Story: Grown in the legendary Embu County at altitudes reaching up to 1,800 Meters, these beans represent a blend of the iconic SL28, SL34, and Ruiru 11 varieties. This lot underwent a meticulous Fully Washed process and was Dried on Raised Beds, ensuring every sip reflects the pure, terroir-driven essence of the Embu landscape.

The Ritual: To best experience the effervescence and floral nuances, we recommend a precision pour-over (Hario V60 or Chemex) or an immersion brew like the Aeropress. It also performs exceptionally well as a bright, zesty single-origin espresso.
